Shipping

For our valued customers who ship their quilts to Three Bears Quilting, please take note of the following important information.

• Contact us prior to shipping your quilt. This allows us to provide you an estimated completion date. In addition, we’ll know when to expect your quilt’s arrival.
• Review the quilt prep guide on this website.
• Complete a service request form. Print 2 copies. One copy will accompany your quilt and the other is for your records.
• Never mark the box your quilt is shipped in with the word “quilt”. Please address the box to Margaret Reiswig. Do not use the word “quilt” in the shipping address line. (see FAQ for more info)
• Batting: You may supply the batting, or purchase from us. We stock many varities of cotton, wool, silk, bamboo and polyester. Feel free to call on Margaret's extensive knowledge of batting to get the look and performance you desire for our quilt.
• Put quilt, back, and batting (if you are supplying) in a ziplock "big bag" before boxing it up.
• You will be contacted when your quilt is received. At this time we can discuss any special instructions you may have.
• Your quilt will be neatly folded and hung with a protective covering away from sunlight until it is serviced.
• When your quilt is completed, you will receive an email with the total charges, including return shipping.
