Shipping

For our valued customers who ship their quilts to Three Bears Quilting, please take note of the following important information.

• Contact us prior to shipping your quilt. This allows us to provide you an estimated completion date. In addition, we’ll know when to expect your quilt’s arrival.
• Review the quilt prep guide on this website.
• Complete a service request form. Print 2 copies. One copy will accompany your quilt and the other is for your records.
• Never mark the box your quilt is shipped in with the word “quilt”. Please address the box to Margaret Reiswig. Do not use the word “quilt” in the shipping address line. (see FAQ for more info)
• Batting: You may supply the batting, or purchase from us. We stock Warm and Natural and Warm and White. The following brands/types have produced the best results on our machine and are preferred: Any Quilters Dream Product, any product from the Warm Company, any Hobbs product.
• Put quilt, back, and batting in a heavy duty ziplock “big bag”. Make sure your bag and box are large enough to return the completed quilt.
• You will be contacted when your quilt is received. At this time we can discuss any special instructions you may have.
• Your quilt will be neatly folded and hung with a protective covering away from sunlight until it is serviced.
• When your quilt is completed, you will receive an email with the total charges, including return shipping.

Your quilt and any unused materials will be returned, insured, after full payment has been received. Checks should be made payable to Three Bears Quilting.
